Andrew joined the firm in 1988, having graduated from London University (Wye College). He became a partner in 1996, and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. In addition to estate management and professional work, Andrew has experience in farm business management, including contract farming arrangements and has previously been an examiner for the CAAV. He is a RICS Registered Valuer.

Andrew joined the firm in 1985, having graduated from Reading University, and became a partner in 1987. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. He specialises in the management of rural estates and has considerable experience of farm sales, tax planning and forestry work. He is a RICS Registered Valuer.

Dermot joined the firm in 1981, having graduated from Cambridge University, and became a partner in 1988. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, having chaired its Property Committee for a number of years. In addition to managing rural estates, Dermot has a particular interest in planning and development work. He is a RICS Registered Valuer.

Tom joined Jas Martin & Co in 2006, becoming a partner in 2013. He has worked in the East Midlands since graduating in 1990 with a degree in Rural Estate Management. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. Tom is responsible for the firm’s residential sales, lettings and valuations as well as advising estate and farmer clients. He is a RICS Registered Valuer.

Robin Battle BSc (Agric.) FRICS FAAV

Before becoming a consultant, Robin was a partner of the firm from 1972 to 2010 and the firm’s senior partner for many years. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of the Chartered Surveyors, a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and is a past President of the Lincolnshire Association of Agricultural Valuers. Robin has been General Commissioner of Taxes, Treasurer and then Chairman of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society and Chairman of the Lincolnshire branch of the Country Land and Business Association. In 2011/12 he was High Sheriff of Lincolnshire and is Chairman of the family’s farming business in the county.

Sally qualified in 1998 as a rural practice Chartered Surveyor and has specialised in estate management ever since.  Starting out in Gloucestershire as a resident land agent followed by nearly a decade resident at Leverhulme Estates in Cheshire Sally relocated to Lincolnshire in 2008 and now manages private client estates within the county.

Mark joined the firm in 2013 having gained considerable experience of estate management with corporate and institutional clients throughout the East Midlands and Lincolnshire. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, with a particular interest in rural planning, development, the renovation of property and farm buildings, and the conservation of historical property. He is a RICS Registered Valuer.

William joined the firm in 2009, having spent the previous 10 years since graduation based in Lincolnshire, concentrating on farm agency and valuation work. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and now specialises in the sale and purchase of farmland and all types of rural property.  He is a past Chairman of the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust in the county and is the Hon Secretary of the Notts & Lincs Division of the Royal Forestry Society.  He works part-time for the firm and runs his family farming business on the Wolds.
